By submitting your content (“Content”) to Decentralize.Today ("Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) which address your engagement with the Site and any other products and services provided by the Site.
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time.
If the changes are substantial (by our determination), we will notify you in writing, at the email address on record (see Privacy Policy https://dt.gl/privacy-policy/) that we may have on record for you and by prominent placement of a notification of the changes on this Legal page, so that you can decide whether to continue working with us. If you continue to submit Content to us, it will be subject to the updated Terms.
You should periodically check the Site and this page for any updates.
Content Rights
You own the Content that you submit for posting on the Site.
You retain ownership of and responsibility for all Content that you create and submit.
You can share content on the Site that you’ve shared or posted elsewhere previously, however, we do require to be provided with details of former postings i.e. date & publication. This information may be appended to your Content on publication.
You agree that you are responsible for any Content you post; that you will only submit Content that you have the right to submit for posting; and that you comply with any third-party licenses relating to Content you submit for posting.
Content from guest writers is subject to review and approval by the Site's editorial team before publication.
We reserve the right to edit your Content at our own discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, grammar, spelling, syntax, content adjustment and the addition or removal of images and videos.
We can remove Content of yours at anytime without notification or reason. Likewise, you can request it's removal at any time, without reason.
We do not accept Content that is hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, insulting, factually incorrect and/or in poor taste in the judgment of the Site's editorial team nor do we accept any responsibility for the opinions and the subjective commentary of contributing writers.
Compensation
At the time of publication of these Terms, contributing writers are not usually financially compensated.
Additional obligations to the Site
By using the Site, you agree that we may enable advertising on the website, including in connection with the display of your Content or other information.
We may also use your Content to promote the Site, its products and other Content.
By submitting Content to the Site, you agree to these Terms.
Compliance
The Site is fully compliant with the requirements of the EU's General Data Protection Regulations since we do not collect any user data and do not send out content with trackers, permission requests or 'cookies'.
