TL;DR Help! Send funds! ;-)

What do we do?

We run two websites, decentralize.today (here!) and the newly launched companion site: privacy.do :

Privacy.do / Home
do privacy at privacy.do\n Latest News \n news\n DT—the latest updatesHow to Retain Tech Talent in your Startup and Reduce Employee TurnoverThis article will explore the best strategies you can apply to make \nyour employee…

These are managed by a group of dedicated and like-minded individuals with a deep-seated belief in privacy as a basic human right and in its protection.

Why do we do it?

We believe in online privacy.

We don't support the use of trackers, cookies, data capture or any other intrusive online activities that gather an individual's personal information for sale or commercial gain, without their permission.

We don't believe that data should be manipulated to influence personal behaviours or public perceptions. An individual's information, behaviours and preferences are of no concern to anyone else.

We believe in promoting and supporting alternative technologies, products, services and ecosystems that help build a more secure, inclusive world. Blockchain, DeFi, cryptos and comms feature heavily.

How well do we do it?

Until recently, we had no reliable, non-intrusive mechanism available to monitor readership. Well, we do now, and the results surprised even us!

Teaser!

We are doing pretty well (we think) and are happy to share more detail, should you wish to join us and/or assist from afar!

How can you help?

This is a passion project for us, a labour of love, and we have covered all expenses since 2016 and strive to keep running costs as low as possible. We rely on users to provide a lot of our content.

As a privacy-focused site, we can't allow intrusive tracking or linking when accepting support in exchange for advertising goods and services, so we need to look at a more passive sponsorship model.

Putting it very simply, we're not looking to make our fortunes here, but would really appreciate any and all financial assistance that allows us to continue our work.

Here's how you can assist:

Sponsorship

Site banner headline - decentralize.today sponsored by XXX

  • company name with link to site, monthly support article, regular social media boosts

A bold positioning statement

Category sponsor - Privacy by YYY

  • company name with link to site, quarterly support article, social media boosts

Great for 'owning the category'...

Article sponsorship - This article bought to you by ZZZ

  • company name with link to site

Ideal for promoting Altcoin Outlooks or Real Use Cases (we'll even take payment in the coin/token/service/product being pushed)
