Why I won't be staking my ETH

In this week's The Part-Time Show podcast by Dr Kapil Amarasinghe, he offers up his considered opinion on the recently revealed PoS protocol for Etherium. Whilst praising the coin on the eco-system it has created for itself and it's contribution to the development of decen fintech, the Good Doctor takes issue with the operating terms for staking it. From the cost of participation to the lock-in period to concerns about the impact of long term coin holders and the subsequent reduction in overall liquidity, he clearly illustrates the risk over reward on this matter.

"I expect the non-speculative usage of Etherium will increase in the future. What I do consider is the complex relationship between that non-speculative usage and the price and usage of ETH tokens. If you look at the details, that relationship is not so clear cut, it is quite complex"

Believe me, this is 10 minutes well spent!
