As we head to the end of the year, I thought my gift to you would be the 'gift of privacy'!
For a long time, I had the idea that I could create a manual for privacy in the 'intersphere', sharing all the knowledge and tips that I have learned, been given, worked out for myself and generally accumulated that allow us to live, work, learn, share in complete privacy and security at a time when both are becoming scarce resources rather than essential rights.
So over the last year or so I have been writing the Privacy Cookbook and from time to time, I have updated sections to keep it current and relevant. It is a living document. Here, today, I present to you the fully updated version containing all 14 chapters.
Going in to the new year, the work goes on and I have big plans to cover new ground with chapters 15 & 16 being focussed on kids and their use and access to the internet as well as a constant process of review and revision to ensure the Cookbook is current!
I have never claimed to have all the answers and ask you to share any insights that you want to pass on or correct any oversights or errors on my part. This is, and always will be, a 'work in progress' but one, that I hope you agree is an essential handbook for modern living!
You can find me via the decentralized.today site or on Element or Telegram or Mastodon.
Stay safe, stay secure.
